Hello Crafty Friends! Its the most magical time of the year, STAMPtember! I cannot believe it is here already ready! I had the pleasure of playing with the DANCE AND TWIRL stamp set and I had so much fun doing so!

- VersaFine Clair NOCTURNE Ink Pad
- Gina K Connect Glue
- Purple Card stock
- Caran d’Ache Luminance Colored Pencils
- Neenah Solar White 110 lb Card Stock – Card Base
I started by stamping one of the images from the Simon Says Stamp – Dance and Twirl Stamp Set set in Simon Says Stamp – Fog Ink. You’ll notice though that I changed her hair style. I made sure to wipe the pony tail off before I stamped and as much of the rest of the hair that I could. I am not sure why, but when I saw this image I knew I wanted to give her black curly hair! Once I had the image stamped, I went to work using my Caran d’Ache Luminance Colored Pencils (I have the large box set but you can only get the 20 pencil set on Simon Says Stamp). I feel like I am still learning with these pencils. Once I had the desired look, I took my time cutting her out.
I then grabbed a piece of purple card stock and decided on a dry embossing technique. So I used the Simon Says Stamp – Cosmo Stencil and ran in through my Gemini using my embossing pad. I love dry embossing as its just another great way to use your stencils!
I then cut that purple panel down and popped it up using some Simon Says Stamp – Big Momma Foam Tape. I adhered the image of the girl using my Gina K Connect Glue. I stamped a sentiment from the same set and viola! Finished!
