Simon Says Stamp – Hello Gorgeous!

Hello Crafty Friends! I have a card for you today using a new backgroud stamp from the Hello Gorgeous Release from Simon Say Stamp! I am so in love with this background!

I started by stamping the image in Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink which is an alcohol friendly ink! I let it dry while I cut out the Happy Birthday Sentiment from Neenah Solar White 80 lb Card stock. I cut it out three times and then glued them all together to create a little depth. I loved the white on white sentiment for this.

Once I had the sentiment assembled, I set it aside and grabbed my stamped panel. I went a head and heat set it just to make sure the ink was good and dry so it wouldn’t smear. Once it was dry, I went a head and started coloring the panel, starting with the pale pink for the back ground. Yes, I did color the whole background but I love this look when its all done!

Once I had the coloring where I wanted it, I assembled the card to the card base and added the sentiment with some foam tape and viola! I had so much fun coloring this stamp set and I can’t want to use it more!
