This month’s featured brand: Distress Oxide Inks

Nothing says happy mail quite like a bright bouquet of hand-stamped flowers! For this card, I added color in a fun and unexpected way by blending Distress Oxide Inks over colored cardstock. The colored paper gave the florals an extra pop while the oxide blending added soft shading and depth. A splattered sky background, stitched details, and a few clear embellishments finished it off perfectly.

I love experimenting with different surfaces, and this technique is a great reminder that Distress Oxides aren’t just for white cardstock!
