She used the most beautiful ink blend of the distress oxide inks! And while I didn&#8217;t follow her card completely, it is a FOR SURE check out <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/prairiepaperandink.typepad.com\/amyr\/2021\/08\/trapped-oxide-ink-blending-sss-wildflowers-take-8-amyr-halloween-2021-series-7.html\">here.<\/a><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I started with ink blending the Distress Oxide inks using my favorite paper to ink blend on, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/30coh\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Ultra Thick 130 lb Card Stock<\/a><\/strong>. This paper is super dreamy for all ink types. I also used blending brushes to make sure I got the blend just right! I started with the lightest color <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/34p6y\">Distress Oxide Ink &#8211; Wild Honey<\/a><\/strong>, and worked my way in rainbow order with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/330bg\">Ripe Persimmon<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/34p70\">Seedless Preserves<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/34p72\">Chipped Sapphire<\/a><\/strong>. Aren&#8217;t these colors a fall sunset? I used my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/34p73\">Distress Water bottle sprayer<\/a><\/strong> to spritz the panel lightly to get the white distress spots in the background. I made sure to heat the panel to ensure the ink was all dry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I then took the Sunflower Garden set that was included in this <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/34p74\">September Card Kit<\/a><\/strong> and stamped it onto the card using <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33vwb\">VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink<\/a><\/strong> and then quickly covering it in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/31xv5\">Clear embossing powder<\/a><\/strong>. I heat set it until clear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I then took <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/34p6z\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/34p6z\">Distress Ink &#8211; Black Soot<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> and smooshed it onto my glass media mat and started to use it as a water color, painting it on. I wanted it to look like the flowers when the sun was setting. When I was done, I assembled my card and added the sentiment from the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/34p6u\">Simon Says Stamp SENTIMENT STRIPS REVERSE SLIMLINE LOVE<\/a><\/strong>.
