Simon has a new release called <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38ue0\">Holiday Handmade <\/a><\/strong>and I was able to play with the new <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38ud4\"><strong>Pine Bouquet Embossing Folder<\/strong>!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a list of supplies used to create this card&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38ud4\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Pine Bouquet Embossing Folder<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/338j8\">Simon Says Stamp Dot Tape Roller<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38ud9\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; You Matter Die<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/31eix\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp \u2013 Big Momma foam Tape<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38udt\">Tonic Mirror Gold Cardstock <\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38uds\">Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38udp\"><strong>Distress Oxide Spray &#8211; Shabby Shutters<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38uds\">Distress Oxide Spray &#8211; Pine Needles<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38udn\">Distress Oxide Sprays &#8211; Speckled Egg<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3055z\">Distress Water Color Paper<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/330wl\">Gina K Connect Glue<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2yvmk\">Neenah Solar White 80 lb Card stock<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2y28v\">Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb card stock \u2013 card ba<\/a><\/strong>se<\/li><li>White Jewels<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I started by cutting down a piece of <strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3055z\">Distress Water Color Paper<\/a><\/strong> to an A2 size. I spritzed it with water to ensure a nice embossed image and ran in through my <strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38ud4\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Pine Bouquet Embossing Folder<\/a><\/strong>. I find that when I spritz the water color cardstock is embosses much better. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once I had the image embossed, I went to town spraying it with distress oxide sprays. I have the best results for these unique colors by spraying the paper with water BEFORE I start spraying with the Oxide sprays. When I had the the right amount of color added I set the panel to the side to dry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I went a head and cut the <strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38ud9\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; You Matter Die<\/a><\/strong> out of <strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2yvmk\">Neenah Solar White 80 lb Card stock<\/a><\/strong> and <strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38udt\">Tonic Mirror Gold Cardstock <\/a><\/strong>for the shadow die. I glued them together using <strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/330wl\">Gina K Connect Glue<\/a><\/strong>. I pupped it up using <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/31eix\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp \u2013 Big Momma foam Tape<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the panel had dried, I grabbed my <strong style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/38uds\">Hero Arts Unicorn White Pigment Ink<\/a><\/strong> and a foam blender, and VERY gently, used it to buff the white ink onto the high areas of the panel. I wanted to highlight the embossed areas to ensure that they popped against this blue\/green background. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I went a head and assembled the card and finished it with some white jewels!
