Back for another card using the Simon Says Stamp October card kit<\/a>! I loved the diversity of this stamp set so much!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of many things I miss during this pandemic is getting together with friends. Thankfully, I do have a few friends that are quarantining just as well as we are and can meet up, but it takes out the fun whim of getting together with girlfriends for coffee. I made this card hoping that some day I can send it out and catch up with a few people who I haven’t had the chance to see this quarantine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started with using the new distress oxide ink in Crackling Campfire<\/a> because honestly, its got to be the most perfect fall color. I picked out a brand new stencil from my stash from Paper Rose called “Stephanie<\/a>” and brushed the distress ink on to it. I also used Pixie Spray for the first time and I was presently surprised! This was a very intricate stencil and it worked wonders keeping it in place. When the ink was blended to my liking, I stamped the coffee cups from the stamp set and then colored them with my Caran d’Ache pencils. I added some gold Nuvo drops, flicked the card from the bottom to level them out and then finished!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
