Its been a while, but I am going to try and be better about blog posts in 2023 and I am going to get started a little early and see how it goes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I recently discovered how much fun it its to use embossing folders, Yupo paper and gloss sprays! It creates the most unique effect, similar to ceramic glaze and I AM IN LOVE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"block-a2914329-5795-4568-a3ea-a3991b433a57\"><li>Paper<ul><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utlk\">Ranger Ink &#8211; Yupo Paper<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utli\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Silver Glitter Paper<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utlf\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Black Card Stock<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2y28v\"><strong>Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb card stock \u2013 card base<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Dina Wakley Gloss Sprays<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utlm\"><strong>Night<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utln\">Lime<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utlo\">Turquoise<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Embossing Folder<ul><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/39jfm\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Magnetic Folder<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Tools<ul><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/338j8\">Simon Says Stamp Tape Dot Runner<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3dgkn\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink<\/strong><\/a><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utm2\">Altenew &#8211; Foam Tape<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3cqwp\">Teflon Bone Folde<\/a><\/strong>r<\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/330wl\">Gina K connect Glue<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I started this card by cutting down the <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utlk\"><strong>Yupo<\/strong><\/a> paper to an A2 size (4.25 in x 5.5 in). I then ran it through the <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/39jfm\"><strong>Magnetic<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>embossing folder using my Gemini machine. When I was done, I grabbed my trusty spray\/splat box (which is an only card kit box with some paper towels in it) and went to town using the gloss sprays. I sprayed them in a diaginal order, starting with <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utlm\"><strong>Night<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong>then <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utlo\"><strong>Turquoise<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>and finished it with<a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utln\"><strong> Lime<\/strong><\/a><strong>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right away, I grabbed my heat gun and began drying the panel. I do this to stop the colors from over mixing. I got it to a state that I liked and dried it almost completely. Mostly until it was no longer going to mix. I set it aside and grabbed my <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utli\"><strong>Silver Glitter<\/strong><\/a> card stock and some <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utlf\">Black<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the panel was all dry I began assembling it by cutting the background panel in a diagonal and adding <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utm2\">Foam Tape<\/a><\/strong> to it. When I do these diagonal cards, I don&#8217;t trim them until I have them adhered (for fear of messing up!). I added the top part where I wanted it and then grabbed my sentiment. I then stamped the sentiment before putting the bottom piece on. Once I had the sentiment stamped, I added the bottom panel in order to frame it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once I was complete with that, I added the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utlf\">black<\/a><\/strong> strips onto the background and finished with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3utli\">silver<\/a> <\/strong>and a old heart sticker. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I hope you enjoyed this card and I look forward to connecting with you more in the future!
