I was so inspired (after my moment of fear!) with Tumbled Hexagon <\/a><\/strong>embossing folder from the Simon Says Stamp release! I ended up making quite a few cards! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time I broke out my shimmer powders again and went to town! I used the colors Cherry Bomb<\/a>, Lunar Rocket<\/a> and Atlantis Burst<\/a>. I think Atlantis burst is my new favorite color! Wanting to experiment some more, this time I taped one water color panel down and then left the other one up. I began shaking pigments (sparingly!) onto the card stock and then misted with water. I repeated the process until I achieved the desired look. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I found two dies, the Stylized Tulip<\/a> and Laurel Leaves<\/a> and cut them out of white card stock and added a couple of Simon’s reverse sentiments and viola! I LOVE how these backgrounds turned out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
