Each of us chooses a favorite product and puts our own creative spin on it, showing just how many different ways one brand can inspire. Follow along, explore every project, and discover new designers and new favorites along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This month\u2019s featured brand:\u00a0 Distress Oxide Inks<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nothing says happy mail quite like a bright bouquet of hand-stamped flowers! For this card, I added color in a fun and unexpected way by blending <strong>Distress Oxide Inks over colored cardstock<\/strong>. The colored paper gave the florals an extra pop while the oxide blending added soft shading and depth. A splattered sky background, stitched details, and a few clear embellishments finished it off perfectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I love experimenting with different surfaces, and this technique is a great reminder that Distress Oxides aren&#8217;t just for white cardstock!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#x1f490; Have you ever ink blended over colored cardstock?
