Hello! I am bringing you a card today using the Simon Says Stamp Big Thanks Autumn<\/a><\/strong> stamp set from the November Card Kit. I hadn’t had a chance to use this set yet so I was ready to knock a couple cards out! I really loved this design. I knew I wanted to use shimmer powders so I grabbed some SSS Antique Gold embossing powder<\/strong><\/a> and some Tim Holtz Distress Water color<\/a><\/strong> and embossed this lovely image! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I reached for my Golden Sparkler Nuvo Shimmer powder<\/a><\/strong> and went to town spritzing and tapping the beautiful colors onto the paper. One thing I have been told is not to dry shimmer powders, just let them do their thing, so I promptly left it sit until it was dry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was shocked at how many different colors there was in this shimmer powder! Reds, Browns and blues. I really wanted to intensify the red since there was only a couple spots of it, so I grabbed a coordinating Zig Clean Clear Markers<\/a><\/strong> and added a splash of a red in a couple additional spots. I did the same with the steel blue color. After it dried, I cut it out and popped it up with some Big Mama Foam Tape<\/a>. <\/strong>I stamped the image on some coordinating yellow cardstock in a light gray. I added the watered colored image, a sentiment from the Big Thanks Autumn<\/a><\/strong> Stamp Set and some gold stickles<\/a><\/strong>. While Fall is behind us, I loved this warm and cozy card!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shimmer in these powders is off the charts! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
