Hello! I am back at it with another beautiful card using the Best Friend Ever Stamp Set<\/strong><\/a>. This set has 4 beautiful florals in it and I loved this Dahlia like floral. I started by embossing this floral on some Neenah Dessert Storm 80 lb<\/a><\/strong> card stock using SSS White Embossing Powder<\/a><\/strong> after prepping the surface with a Anti Static embossing bag<\/a>. <\/strong>I then broke out some distress oxide ink in the colors Wilted Violet<\/a>, Wild Honey<\/a> and Rustic Wilderness<\/a><\/strong> and smooshed them onto my work surface where I began water coloring them very gently onto the cardstock. I made sure to use very little water so I didn’t warm the cardstock. I have found that both the Neenah White and Desert Storm will hold up to water in small amounts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once I was done I used a Hugs <\/a><\/strong> from the Birthday Reverse Sentiment Cards<\/strong><\/a> from CZ Design. And that’s it! I left the card fairly simple to showcase the beautiful floral. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love how Neenah Dessert Storm 80 lb<\/a><\/strong> looks with the Distress Oxide inks on top of it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
