I am bringing to you today some rainbow goodness from the <strong>Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit of the Month<\/strong>. I had so much fun playing with this kit and I&#8217;m not done! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love black with rainbow. When I saw this beautiful stripped paper, I wanted to create a emboss resist with clear embossing powder and then using ink to black out the pattern. So I set my <strong>stamps<\/strong> up on the paper how I wanted and inked it up in <strong>versamark <\/strong>and stamped it on the paper. I then used <strong>Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder<\/strong> and then heat set it until clear. I then grabbed my <strong>Distress Oxide Ink Black Soot<\/strong> and started blending the color on using a <strong>Foam Dome<\/strong> that was included in the kit. I quickly figured out it wasn&#8217;t as blacked out as I wanted. So I focused on blacking out around and in between the rainbow and then cut it out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I splattered some <strong>white Acrylic<\/strong> onto a piece of <strong>Black Simon Says Stamp Cardstock<\/strong> and then poped the rainbow up using my <strong>Big Mama Foam Tape. <\/strong>I then used a couple clouds from the <strong>Stamp Set<\/strong> and embossed them using <strong>white embossing powder<\/strong> and then fussy cut them out.
