I am back in the craft room after a much needed vacation to my home state of Oregon to see family. And what better way to kick it off then a new Simon Says Stamp release! I had the lovely pleasure of working with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3307v\">Do what it cakes stamp set.<\/a> <\/strong>What a CUTE set! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For my first card I did a ink smoosh using<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305o\">Distress Oxide Inks<\/a>. <\/strong>Here is the rest of the supplies!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2y29l\">Distress Oxide Ink &#8211; Squeezed Lemonade<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305j\">Distress Oxide Ink &#8211; Salty Ocean<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2y29i\">Distress Oxide Ink &#8211; Picked Raspberry<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2wjea\">Versamark Embossing Ink<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2wjer\">Embossing Powder &#8211; Ranger Princess Gold<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3055z\">Distress Water Color Cardstock<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2y28v\">Neenah Solar white 110lb Cardstock<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/31eix\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Big Momma Foam Tape<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305m\">Darice Foam Strips<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305n\">Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305p\">Misti by My Sweet Petunia<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>First, I grabbed the beautiful cake stamp set and added it to my<a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305p\"> <strong>Misti<\/strong>.<\/a> I inked it up using my versa mark embossing ink and then sprinkled <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2wjer\">Ranger Princess Gold<\/a><\/strong> onto the inked image and set it with a heat gun. Next, I lined up the sprinkle stamps and inked them up using the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305o\">Distress Oxide Inks<\/a>. <\/strong>For each color, I randomly pounced a paper towel over the image to remove some of the ink to create a random rainbow inking. Next, I went to town smooshing the lightest color, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2y29l\">Squeezed Lemonade<\/a><\/strong> onto my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305n\">media mat<\/a><\/strong> and spritzing it with water. I then used an old piece of plastic (left over from a stamp set) and started picking up the ink and carefully adding it to my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3055z\">Distress Water Color cardstock,<\/a> <\/strong>being sure to randomize it and create a balance of color. I continued with the two additional colors <a href=\"http:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305j\">(<strong>Salty Ocean<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>and<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2y29i\">Picked Raspberry<\/a><\/strong>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After I had enough splattered about, I grabbed the candles and stamped those, along with a sentiment. I carefully cut them out and added<a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305m\"> <strong>Darice Foam<\/strong><\/a> to the back of both and placed them on the panel.
