For this card, I wanted to use a masking technique to highlight the beautiful florals and make them look like they are sitting on top of the cake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a list of supplies&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3307v\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Do What It Cakes Stamp Set<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/322i5\">Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3320f\">Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.simonsaysstamp.com\/product\/Simon-Says-Stamp-STITCHED-RECTANGLES-Wafer-Dies-sssd111455-In-Stitches-sssd111455?currency=USD\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/31eix\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam Tape<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li>Blush Pink Cardstock<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2y28v\"><strong>Neenah Solar White 110 lb Cardstock<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.simonsaysstamp.com\/product\/Inkadinkado-STAMPING-MASK-PAPER-Dimensional-Crafting-62-01022-24882\">Inkadinkado Masking Sheet<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305p\">My Sweet Petunia &#8211; Misti<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2zwqn\">Versamark Embossing Ink<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I started off by using one of my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.simonsaysstamp.com\/product\/Simon-Says-Stamp-STITCHED-RECTANGLES-Wafer-Dies-sssd111455-In-Stitches-sssd111455?currency=USD\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies<\/strong><\/a> to cut out the Blush Pink card stock. I then dusted it with my embossing buddy to remove all the static that might have been on the paper. Next, I started by putting my cake stamp down on the paper to get an idea of where I wanted the cake. I then place the floral stamps over the cake where I wanted them to be on it. I then closed my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305p\">Misti<\/a><\/strong>, and very carefully picking up the floral images. I removed the cake and then stamped the florals in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2zwqn\">Versamark Embossing Ink<\/a><\/strong>. I coated the image in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/322i5\">Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder<\/a><\/strong> and heated it with my heat gun. While I had the stamps still on my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305p\">Misti<\/a><\/strong>, I grabbed a piece of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.simonsaysstamp.com\/product\/Inkadinkado-STAMPING-MASK-PAPER-Dimensional-Crafting-62-01022-24882\">Inkadinkado Masking paper<\/a><\/strong> and then fussy cut the images out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I placed the masking images over the florals and then lined my cake stamp back up. I repeated the versamark on the stamp and the embossing powder. Before I set the powder, I removed the masks to ensure that everything looked good.
