I even used the new <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwz\">Simon Says Stamp Blending Brushes<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a list of items I used on this card&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwr\">Simon Says Stamp Ink &#8211; Mint<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uws\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp Ink &#8211; Mint Candy<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/338j3\">Simon Says Stamp Ink &#8211; Hot Mama<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwq\">Simon Says Stamp Ink &#8211; White Pigment<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/338ja\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Blending Brushes Large<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwt\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Blending Brushes Small<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwu\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Mod Layering Leaves Stencil<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwv\">Simon Says Stamp Love Is Background Stamp<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uww\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp Swoopy Oh Crap Die<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwx\">Simon Says Stamp Craptastic Sentiments<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/322i5\">Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/338j8\">Simon Says Stamp Tape Runner<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/30coh\">Simon Says Stamp 130 lb Ultra Thick Card Stock<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2zwqn\">Versamark Watermark Ink<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/3305m\"><strong>Darice Foam Strips<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/330wl\">Gina K Connect Glue<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwy\">Therm O Web PIXIE SPRAY<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2y28v\">Neenah Solar White 110 lb Card Stock &#8211; Card Base<\/a><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I started by spraying the base layer of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwu\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Mod Layering Leaves Stencil<\/a><\/strong> with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwy\">Therm O Web PIXIE SPRAY<\/a><\/strong>, being sure to follow the instructions on how to use it. I then placed it on my A2 panel of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/30coh\">Simon Says Stamp 130 lb Ultra Thick Card Stock<\/a><\/strong>. This is my favorite cardstock to use when I am doing any sort of ink blending. I started by using my min colored <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/338ja\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Blending Brushes Large<\/a><\/strong> and the lighter <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwr\">Simon Says Stamp Ink &#8211; Mint<\/a><\/strong> color. These brushes are AMAZING. They are super soft and blend like a dream! I held a light hand and added the mint color all over. I then used the darker mint color, <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uws\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp Ink &#8211; Mint Candy<\/strong><\/a>, and very carefully darkened up the base of the leaves to add a little more interest. I then followed the steps for the top layer stencil and then used <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/338j3\">Simon Says Stamp Ink &#8211; Hot Mama<\/a><\/strong> and a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwt\">Simon Says Stamp &#8211; Blending Brushes Small<\/a><\/strong>, the purple one, to add the beautiful purple color. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I loved the background with just the stencil work, but I decided to take it a step farther. And this is where I pulled a rookie move, but enjoyed how it came out. I grabbed the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwv\">Simon Says Stamp Love Is Background Stamp<\/a><\/strong> and inked it up using <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwq\">Simon Says Stamp Ink &#8211; White Pigment<\/a><\/strong>. But it wasn&#8217;t showing up enough for me, so I grabbed my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/322i5\">Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder<\/a><\/strong>, thinking I will just add it sort of lightly in different locations to give it that distressed look. And here is where the rookie move comes into play. My ink blending was still wet, so when I added the embossing powder onto the background, it stuck EVERYWHERE. With a deep sign, I tapped that panel as hard as I could a couple times, but then in a attempt to keep the card moving forward, I heat set it, wondering how it would turn out. And I was pleasantly surprised! I loved that texture and distressed look it gave the panel! So I carried on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I finished the card by blending <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwr\">Simon Says Stamp Ink &#8211; Mint<\/a><\/strong> onto a panel and cutting out the <a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uww\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp Swoopy Oh Crap Die<\/strong><\/a>. I added foam tape being the sentiment and also the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33uwx\">Simon Says Stamp Craptastic Sentiments<\/a><\/strong> and adhered it to my panel.
