I was able to make two cards for the recent Simon Says Stamp release – Send Happiness<\/a>! This card I focused on the beautiful crocus stamp in the Thoughtful Flower<\/a> set. I started by using Tim Holtz Distress Inks in colors Shaded Lilac<\/a> and Twisted Citron<\/a> by laying a light layer down on the flower to create a base to build on. Next, I used my Caran d’Ache<\/a> pencils to color the crocus, added it to a Mama Elephant Scales background Die<\/a> for a little interest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finished the card off with a Good Thoughts sentiment and some white pearls. Love how much the scaled background brings to this card with such a simple act of die cutting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
