I am bringing to you today a card I made using the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2x2a2\">Kit of the Month (KOM)<\/a><\/strong> from <strong>Spellbinders<\/strong>! I love these kits because you can make some beautiful cards in a matter of minutes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a list of supplies I used on this card&#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2x2a2\"><strong>Spellbinders &#8211; Kit of the Month July <\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/345wg\">Therm O Web Gina K Designs IRIDESCENT Glitz Glitter Gel<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/330wl\">Gina K Connect Glue<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/345wh\"><strong>Simon Says Stamp Stencil LARGE CHEVRON PATTERN<\/strong><\/a><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/338j8\">Simon Says Stamp Dot Tape Runner<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33fmj\">Painters Tape<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2wjer\">Ranger Princess Embossing Powder<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2yvmk\">Neenah Solar White 80 lb Card Stock<\/a><\/strong><\/li><li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2y28v\">Neenah Solar White 110 lb Card Stock<\/a> &#8211; card base<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I started by cutting a A2 panel out of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2yvmk\">Neenah Solar White 80 lb Card Stock<\/a><\/strong> and taping my stencil to it from behind using <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/33fmj\">Painters Tape<\/a><\/strong>. I like to use this kind of tape because its tacky enough to hold your stencil, but not enough to tear the paper if you remove slowly. I grabbed my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/345wg\">Therm O Web Gina K Designs IRIDESCENT Glitz Glitter Gel<\/a><\/strong> and did a distressed application of it starting in the upper left corner and finishing in the bottom right. When I was done, I washed my stencil right away and all the tools I used to apply the GLITZ. Its important to get it off so it doesn&#8217;t stick to your stencil. After I removed the stencil, I wanted a bit more oomph, so I grabbed my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shrsl.com\/2wjer\">Ranger Princess Embossing Powder<\/a><\/strong> and lightly dusted it over the Glitz while it was still wet. This was a learning process for me, as I wasn&#8217;t sure how it was going to react when I heat set it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The embossing powder actually reacted to the heat, bubbling in some places at the glitz dried underneath. It was a really beautiful reaction and I am super happy with how it turned out!
