Simon Says Stamp – Lets Chill Release

Categories – , , ,

Hi Crafty Friends! Simon Says Stamp has a new release for you called the Lets Chill Release and its fabulous!

Here are some items I used to create this card…

I started off with a piece of Simon Says Stamp Mega Thick Card Stock 130 Lb for the panel. I grabbed my purple Simon Says Stamp Ink Brush and my Simon Says Stamp -Lavender Ink, and very lightly began creating a halo of in in the bottom left hand corner of the panel. When I was happy with the intensity, I set the panel aside and got into the foiling!

I had not become very confident with my foiling machine, but after this craft room day, I was foiling ALL THE THINGS. So I grabbed the Simon Says Stamp – Sketched Daisy Bloom Hot Foil and some Spellbinders Hot Foil – Silver and went to town using my Crafters Companion’s Hot Foil Press. I heat it up to the companies recommendations for heat, added the die face up, then the foil face down, my piece of Neenah Classic Crest 80 lb card stock. I added my shim (I have the larger gemini and it required an additional plate in order to work in my machine) and sent it on through!

I always get so excited when I peel back foil. Its so magical! It reviled and perfectly foiling image. I aligned the die cut and then sent it through to cut the die out and viola, that beautiful floral was complete. While my foil machine was hot, I grabbed some Thermoweb – Silver Deco Foil, my Pink Fresh Studio – Solid Hot Foil Plate and some sentiments from the Craptastic Birthday CZ Design. I used my Hot Foiling Machine to transfer the foil onto the sentiments. to make them match, I then added some Simon Says Stamp -Lavender Ink. I grabbed my Simon Says Stamp – Laurel Leaves Die and some Simon Says Stamp Silver Paper and cut out the one set of that die. I grabbed ink blended panel and adhered the A2 panel that I blended onto the card panel and then began building my card. I started with the leaves, gluing them down with Gina K connect Glue, added foam Tape to the back of the floral and focused those into the bottom left hand corner. I then added some foam tape to the sentiments, added some glue to the jewels and VIOLA! Card Complete!

I have a couple more cards for you using this die and I hope you come back to check them out!
