Hello! I have a beautiful card using two of the new collections recently released by Spellbinders. I used the Bottle Brush Trees from the “Tis the Season” release and the sentiment from the “Be Merry” release!
I used the following items to make this card…
- Spellbinders – Home for Christmas Sentiments Clear
- Spellbinders – Bottle Brush Trees Etched Dies
- Ranger Embossing Powder – Princess Gold
- Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam Tape
- Patterned Paper from a older Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month
- Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock
I started off by finding a patterned paper from an older Card kit of the Month from Spellbinders. It was a Christmas pack, and I loved that this one had little gold dots mixed in to give it that subtle shimmer. I cut the patterned paper slightly less than the A2 card base.
I then used the Spellbinders – Bottle Brush Trees Etched Dies and cut it out of some Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock. I then used the Spellbinders – Home for Christmas Sentiments Clear and embossed it on a scrap piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb card stock and then used a random punch to cut it out. I then glued the trees down flat, but having the littler tree on top of the bigger ones, and then used my Simon Says Stamp Big Momma Foam Tape to pop the sentiment up. Super easy card, but makes a great statement!
