I started by spraying both stencils with Therm O Web PIXIE SPRAY and finding some scraps of Simon Says Stamp 130 lb Ultra Thick Card Stock. I knew I wanted to make a circle card and a rectangle card, I found some in my scrap pile and adhered the freshly spritzed stencils to it.
I then grabbed my new Simon Says Stamp – Blending Brushes in green, teal and purple! In order to keep these colors looking soft and fresh, I started with Simon Says Stamp Ink – Jelly Bean and then worked in rainbow order, making sure to keep a soft hand, especially when it came to Hot Mama and Scuba. These colors started to muddy if you were too heavy handed (see the circle card).
After I blending away, I cut the cards using Simon Says Stamp – Stitched Rectangle Dies and Simon Says Stamp – Circle Nesting Dies. I folded my Neenah Solar White 110 lb Card Stock – Card Base and did a side folding card. I used for the first time today Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink and I really liked it. My stamp got a little fuzzy so there was some threads but I really enjoyed how dark it was. Added some Simon Says Stamp – Big Momma Foam Tape to the back and viola!
