Hello crafty friends! I made 4 of these beautiful cards for a bride who wanted to thank her wedding party and I love how they turned out. A little shimmer powder paired with distress ink is a winner!

I started by ink smooshing the Distress Ink – Prize Ribbon onto my media mat and picking it up with a spare sheet of plastic from a stamp set. I then went to work laying the ink onto 4 panels of Neenah Solar White 80 lb Card Stock to be sure to focus the ink onto the left side of the panel. After I had the ink how I wanted, I set the panels aside to dry and moved onto the Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Powder- Catherine Wheel. I prepped a sheet of Distress Water Color Card Stock by using a non static powder bad and then used a floral stamp from the Simon Says Stamp – Beautiful Mothers Stamp Set. I used WOW Premium Glitter Sparkles Essential GOLD DUST and heat set the image. I then tapped the whole sheet of watercolor onto my water coloring board using painters tape.
I then spritzed the sheet with clean water, and then very carefully tapped the Tonic Nuvo Shimmer Powder- Catherine Wheel ever so slightly. I added a spritzed with water until I was all set with how it worked.
I set everything aside to dry. Once its was, I used a coordinating die to cut the florals out and then finished the card with a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp – Thank you Sentiments. I love how these shimmers move and dry so much!
